NIGERIAN SINGER, MAY D HAS NARRATED HOW HIS DEAL WITH P-SQUARE AND THEIR BROTHER, JUDE OKOYE ENDED TERRIBLY.

It is no news that the once beautiful romance that glowed between  May D and his former record label, Square Records and Northside Entertainment ended in bad terms. Signed to the record label in 2011, he featured in two singles from P-Square’s fifth album, Invasion, on the track “Chop-Chop”. He also released two of his mega hits “Soundtrack” and “Ile Ijo” under the label.

During a recent Instagram live session, May Drevealed never heard before details about their deal. According to him, after his songs blew up, Jude Okoye immediately wanted to sign a contract but was against the move because they had just lost their mom. May Dsaid he wanted them to bury their mom before they go ahead with the deal.

However, they were adamant and wanted him to sign the contract immediately. May D said their initial agreement was for him to blow up using their platform and move on afterward. The singer said they never believed in him and wanted him in their label after seeing his success.
