News: Five New Cases Of COVID-19 Confirmed In Nigeria

The National Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed the news of 5 new cases of the novel COVID-19 virus. With 2 new cases in Lagos, 2 in Abuja and 1 in Rivers, the total number of cases has summed up to 51.

The news dated 11:25pm, March 25th 2020 comes after series of tensions and confirmations from principal authorities after key political officers test positive to the pandemic. Out of the 5, 3 are travelling returnees and the 2 had close contacts with those infected. 

Citizenry are been advised to adhere to the instructions of social distancing, maintain personal hygiene and call the necessary authorities avoid the trust in self medication.
